Braces and Aligners

Dental braces are used to straighten teeth and correct various ranges of orthodontic issues such as crooked teeth, crowded teeth and gapped teeth.

Braces move your teeth by exerting constant pressure on them for extended periods of time. The shape of your jaw gradually adapts to conform to this pressure.

There are different types of braces such as:

  • Metal braces
  • Ceramic braces
  • Lingual braces
  • Self-ligating braces

Depending upon the needs of the patients the dentist decides which type of braces is best suited. The age of 9-14 is the best time for dental braces as at this time the jaws and facial bones are more flexible to easily fix the teeth in their desired positions. It doesn’t mean adult braces are not that effective, it only takes a longer time to achieve the desired results.

Clear Aligners :

Aligners are thin transparent custom made for each individual which helps in correcting your crooked teeth just like braces.
